Which politician emerged from the mess of Katrina as the biggest bonehead involved? No, it’s not Michael Brown, George W. Bush, or even the bumbling Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Babineaux Blanco.

But New York Times calls him “a folk hero“…

Nagin is a buffoon. He no more belongs in a position of authority, any position of authority than my pet goldfish. He has the leadership skills of a piece of dust. He should be recalled or impeached along with Blanco. Bush had a hand in the poor response and in some manner needs to do more than admit he screwed it up. And, FEMA needs to be revamped as it has been proven it is incapable of responding adequately to this level disaster.
