New Year’s Resolutions
Saturday, December 31st, 2005 -- J. DoeMy Personal New Year’s Resolutions are to:
- Be a loving wife to my dear husband
- Find a job
- Find a better job if necessary
- Lose some weight-either by dieting, joining a gym or most likely both
- Be a good daughter for my parents
- Be a good aunt to my niece who is only 10 months old but has never even seen me before
- Have a child (or children)
- Enjoy the beauty of life
- Have just enough money to not be dirt poor, or filthy rich, but enough to live comfortable
- Be helpful to others

Definitely some good resolutions. Hey I love the little snow effect you’ve got going also. IT’s nice to know 2.0 came out, but like any new thing, I’m skeptical to change too until I hear more about the changes.

upgrading WP isn’t 100% risk-free.
I wish to install a copy of Buzzurro.net in my PC, with WP 1.5, then I wish to try to upgrade it to 2.0, taking note of all the issues that may eventually come out. I know it sounds tricky (probably fun for me), but I wish to avoid to have the blog broken for half day/one day/whatever, in order to study how to minimize the downtime.
Buzzurro.net has undergone some customizations from me in the WP code and the plugins code, so I should take note of all of them and keep them in the new software.
It takes time. And we don’t have that much time on these days.
We (J.Doe and I) have a relocation to the United States in progress…
And, after all, the software that powers this blog is not that bad. It’s the penultimate version of WP..
