Around the World in 17 days

Saturday, January 28th, 2006 -- J. Doe

Buzzurro and I have been in the US for 17 days so far. In that time period we have eaten:
1. Malaysian food
2. Thai food
3. Mexican food
4. Italian food (coming from Italy this is a given)
5. Mongolian food
6. American food (being that we are here in the US now ,this is also a given)
7. Vietnamese food.

With meals of Hummus and Baba Ghanooj in between.

It’s been great. I really, really, really missed the variety of cuisines while living in Italy.
Don’t get me wrong, Italian food is great, but sometimes only a Pad Thai will hit the spot.

ooh! lucky you–the food sounds great :) ! i agree–italian food is great, but when you are always here always eating italian food (okay, so we cheat often and make mexican food and other such things), going back to the states and being bombarded with every international cuisine possible feels wonderful :) . Ah….Thai food!

Why, when Italians go out to dinner, so they go eat italian? why go out at all? You eat the same things at home… Granted, you don’t have to cook, but I think most of the people who go out to dinner don’t cook anyway, their moms do. hahahah

We have 2 mex restaunts we have gone too, that are ptetty good. But I was warned against the chinese places. I MISS asian food. Thai, Chinese, Pan Pacific. Wild Ginger! YUMMMMMMM hehe (I haven’t even had breakfast yet.)
