Buzzurro and I haven’t been updating this blog recently because we’ve been on the road. Buzzurro was offered a job in New Mexico. We were then living in New Jersey, so we did what many people do: we packed up our car and headed towards New Mexico.
Our route took us through several states, most of which I (the US citizen) and Buzzurro (the Italian citizen) had never been to. We drove through New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and of course New Mexico. It was a wonderful trip. We were truly amazed at the beauty of this country.We were almost sad to reach our destination. (sort of reach our destination. We are now looking at apartment rentals.)
But we are back on-line-sort of.

I was driving through Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Dallas, San Antonio, El Paso, New Mexico and Colorado early in March and enjoyed the drive enormously. There was a lot of fog until San Antonio, but enjoyed it anyway. Go a little further north into Colorado and the views get majestic. I would be very interested in reading Buzzuro’s reaction to what must have been at least a three thousand mile trip through America’s heartland.

Pictures! Where are the pictures of what sounds like a great road trip???!!! Some people have all the fun…

We took a lot of pictures, but I, the technical genius one (sarcasm), did something to our digital camera and I jumbled up the order. Now we both have to take more time to sort through them. As soon as we have the time we will, but I honestly can’t say when that will be.
We found a place and will move in April.

I get daily reports sent to me via Monster with my current location in California listed as a preference AND New Mexico. I love the high desert. I hope you will too.

I also have blog friends who just this week took off from New Mexico to move to Italia.

I’m glad you’re back, Ms Jane and you too Mr. Buzz. Good luck with the new job. Keep us updated when you can.
