Chavez Rules
In the slums of Caracas, Chavista grocery patrons are now being branded on their bellies (food goes into your belly, right?) with indelible ink by store personnel to ensure that they do not buy more chicken than the government arbitrarily allows.
I believe this is all part of Hugo’s new national weight-loss program.
wow! I had no idea… Sort of crazy but that’s probably why all of my dear Venezuelan friends live in California and not there!
Good grief. But then again, nobody can dehumanize, oppress, and demean individuals as well as those who purportedly are staunch defenders of the “great proletariat workers’ revolution,” etc.
Yesterday I’ve seen Chavez on tv in an anti-Bush manifestation, near a poster representing Bush figured as Hitler…. Manifestation was against bio-fuel that Bush is trying to adopt now, replacing petrol…
Can’t wait for the microchipping to start!
It’s about time someone even suggested seriously an alternate fuel source to oil. I think Chavez sees his oil wealth going down he tubes, and seriously what else has Venezuela got? Without the oil nobody will even listen to him.
