Calling an illegal alien an “undocumented immigrant” is like calling a drug dealer an “unlicensed pharmacist”

I watched this on TV a few days ago.
In this clip, Bill O’Reilly is called racist by journalist Joanne Ostrow because he calls illegal aliens illegal aliens and not “undocumented immigrants”. PC at its extreme…

A Christmas Tree is a Christmas Tree

Thursday, December 1st, 2005 -- J. Doe

Calling a Christmas tree a Christmas tree has become a politically charged prospect in jurisdictions across the country — from Boston to Sacramento and in dozens of communities in between.
Last week in Boston the city’s Web site referred to a giant tree erected on Boston Common as a “holiday tree.”
The new name drew the ire of many Christians.
“The Boston Christmas tree situation is symbolic of what’s happening … around the country,” said Mathew Staver, president and general counsel of Liberty Counsel.
“Government officials, either because of misinformation, or private retailers, for politically correct reasons, are trying to secularize Christmas.
“To rename a Christmas tree as a holiday tree is as offensive as renaming a Jewish menorah a candlestick,” Mr. Staver said.
Mr. Staver, I may not agree with you on all issues, but I feel your pain on this one.

The name change from Christmas tree to holiday tree is done out of Political Correctness.
The Boston city officials, as well as other city officials do not want to offend the non-Christian, non-Christmas celebrating people of the nation.
They are changing the name from Christmas tree to holiday tree, to also include those who celebrate Hanukkah, or Kwaanza.

Well, as one of the non-Christian, non Christmas celebrating people I will tell you what I think of the name change from Christmas tree to Holiday tree.
I am offended.
Do they think that a tree decorated with lights will completely send me over the edge ?
Do they think so lowly of my mental state?
It’s a tree. Decorated with lights and ornaments. It is not a religious object.
The fact that it exists does not force me to enter a church or say a prayer.
The fact that it is a symbol associated with the holiday Christmas is not a problem for me.
Its origins were from ancient pagan ceremonies. That does not bother me either.
It is not associated with Hanukkah or Kwaanza, and it shouldn’t be.
To call it a holiday tree-now THAT is offensive !
